Web Design: This project required the development of a site design layout that enabled the ability to present many books without overwhelming the viewer when viewing the small collection of books. The site also required a member login page and the ability to purchase used books online.

The development of this project using a vibrant array of colors provided interest when viewing the web site. One of the key elements in the success of this project was taking advantage of the Spry-elements within the Dreamweaver CS4 application to present many books without overcrowding valuable space. Using both collapsible and tabbed panels served a dual purpose. The collapsible panel was functional for the selection of a featured author only having a small collection of books. The tabbed panel was most instrumental in the success of the project when viewing many books by various authors. The "Book Collection" page displayed all of the books available for retail in the owner's personal collection to include the ability for the viewer to select and add books to the shopping cart.
